Introduction

Hello, my lovely peoples. It is I, Donica, from SMS Cafeteria.

Okay, so I didn't have a huge following over there, but I did have a few faithful readers... and then I stopped posting. Life got in the way, I ran out of things to post about (even though I was in the middle of the 30 days of BSC list), and things just kind of... stalled.

So, for now, I am hanging up that blog. It'll still be there, and I might come back to it, and even finish the 30 days of BSC (Which has now been about a year and a half), but I wanted to expand my horizons and not limit myself to the BSC series itself.

Which isn't to say that I won't post about the BSC on here, but call attention to other things I recall from my childhood and teenage years. Perhaps delve into Harry Potter (which I didn't start reading until I was 19, actually). Perhaps, The Hunger Games... (okay, newer series, but I didn't read the first book until a week before the movie came out in theaters).

Over the past couple of days, while gearing up for graduation in just over a week, (I actually graduated in December, but my school is too small to have two graduation ceremonies), I've been watching Nostalgia Critic and Nostalgia Chick videos. Now, while I might not always agree with their assessments, I do find their video reviews immensely entertaining, and made me want to explore some of my nostalgic past. I'm not brave enough to put myself on video, nor do I have the video editing software or knowledge that those two possess, so I decided to start up another blog.

Now, the PLAN is to start updating at least on a semi regular basis. The first few posts that I have formulated in my head are about some of my guilty pleasures. These might be movies, music, books, tv, etc. .. some of which I might be somewhat ashamed to admit I like, but in the end, I don't really give a F**k.

The BSC will NOT be on this list.

So for now, welcome to this new blog (whose name I borrowed from a 12 year old movie that I actually never saw...), and I hope to garner at least some readers.

Ta ta!
